Liz Chomicki has been involved with horses for over 20 years. She graduated from Etobicoke School of the Arts in Toronto, Ontario, where she honed her skills with countless equine studies. She can be found traveling throughout Canada and the US to capture her own scenic compositions and the stories they tell. Her goal as an artist is to bring together light, colour and the composition in harmony with the horse.
Since being accepted into her first juried show in 2018, she has been invited to have a solo 3-month residency at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (Wellington, FL), actively serves on the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Equine Art (AAEA), and was the featured artist at the 2023 and 2024 Spring Foxfield Races in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Notable gallery exhibitions include the European Museum of Modern Art (Barcelona, Spain),
Sotheby's (virtual), National Sporting Library and Museum (Middleburg, VA), and the Master of
Foxhounds Association (Middleburg, VA).
