Influenced by the wildlife of the Yorkshire Wolds and Coast and a lifetime spent around horses Maggie’s subject matter is animals and birds but she also finds inspiration within themes of mythology, religion, poetry and literature. Much of her work is a visual interpretation of a poem, legend or passage that she has read.
An established artist, Maggie has exhibited widely in London and throughout the UK. Her work has appeared in several publications including ‘Travelling the Turf’ and ‘Riding’ magazine and she featured in the BBC series ‘Divine Art’
